CONFERENCE AGENDA
- 9:00am - 10:00am: Registration
- 10:00am - 11:00am: Morning Plenary Session
- Continental breakfast served.
Staff and board members will welcome conference attendees, provide a brief overview of the conference, outline the goals of the conference, presenting our vision for an end of marijuana prohibition, launching our organizing campaign plan to advocate for full legalization and introducing the national N.O.R.M.L.'s founder, Keith Stroup for a keynote speech (30 minutes). Also featuring MN NORML Executive Director, Marcus Harcus and Organizing Director, Leroy Duncan, Board Member Randy Quast.

(1) Ending Cannabis Prohibition, the Failed Drug War featuring cannabis entrepreneurs and advocates, Jeremy Kaufman of the Center for Palliative Care in Washington and Justin "Java" Carter of The Green Solution in Colorado. (2) Health Justice and Economic Development featuring cannabis entrepreneurs and advocates, Jeremy Kaufman of the Center for Palliative Care in Washington and Justin "Java" Carter of The Green Solution in Colorado.

Keynote speech by Dr. Carl Hart, with audience Q&A moderated by MN NORML Executive Director, Marcus Harcus.

(1) Health Justice and Economic Development Adult conversations about the social, medical, economic and political benefits of cannabis legalization and the lucrative business and economic development opportunities in the legalized industry. Featuring cannabis entrepreneurs and advocates, Jeremy Kaufman of the Center for Palliative Care in Washington and Justin "Java" Carter of The Green Solution in Colorado engaging in discussion. (2) Ending Cannabis Prohibition, the Failed Drug War featuring Law Enforcement Against Prohibition (L.E.A.P.) leader, Diane Goldstein, and David Bearman, MD, an expert physician in the field of medical marijuana.

- 5:00pm - 6:00pm: Mingle, Meet and Greet, Political Conversations - Cash Bar available (beer and wine), Appetizers will be served.
Interactive, conference-closing discussion about the imperative for full legalization and all of the issue implications of ending prohibition and creating a new, regulated industry for America's #1 cash crop, a healthier, safer choice with myriad health benefits. Featuring all of the keynote and workshop speakers and finishing with a closing speech by MN NORML Executive Director, Marcus Harcus.

PARKING & TRANSPORTATION
Many parking ramps surround the Minneapolis Convention Center and there is free parking south of the bridges over I-94, in Stevens Square. Several bus lines go near the convention center, including a free ride circulator that goes up Nicollet Mall to the light rail station. See MetroTransit.org or OMGTransit.com for transit planners. If the weather is bad, you can walk in the skyways all the way across downtown. See Convention Center info for driving directions.

Food is provided with registration, which includes: Continential Breakfast in the morning, Box Lunch (sandwich, etc), and snacks with cash bar at closing for meet and greet.
